Registration for 2008/2009 Opens May 1, 2008

Registration for the 2008-2009 season opens May 1 2008. For this calendar year it is the policy of VHASA that everyone will register online. If you do not have a credit card, it is recommended that you purchase a gift card in the amount of $32.00 per player to register online. Registration online causes fewer registration errors, eliminates the need for a paper Waivers of Liability (reducing paperwork) and we can establish teams a lot faster. Registration Fees for the 2008-2009 season are as follows
  • Bantams - $475
  • PeeWees - $450
  • Squirts - $425
  • Cross Ice: Reds and Yellows - $75 per session. There will be two sessions each lasting approximately 8-10 weeks with skating 2 times per week
  • Learn to Skate: Teals- $35 per session. There will be two sessions each lasting approximately 8-10 weeks with skating 1 time per week

Equipment is available for rental at Fenton Chester Arena. Please contact Gary Parris or Barry Ford at Fenton Chester Ice Arena for more details.

For clarification, everyone on the ice during a LAYHA sponsored event must be registered with LAYHA. The only exception is referees; however, they must be currently registered and patched through USA Hockey and this only applies to games. There has been some confusion in the past regarding participants at coaches clinics, etc. Even though a person is registered as a coach with USA Hockey, that does not mean that the coach is registered with LAYHA, it is two seperate and distinct registrations. All on ice volunteers also must be registered with LAYHA.
